THE STORY BEHIND AMA DABLAM
Of the many times I’ve walked along this trail I have not replicated this shot and that makes me happy. It is the unpredictable aspect of photography that is dependent upon conditions. What goes into the variables that influence the environment we find ourselves are in. A representation of the interdependence and impermanence of our experience. I told myself when I was 34 that I would climb Ama Dablam by the time I was 45. Maybe I will...I could also just admire it or circumambulate it. It’s an iconic peak that many are drawn to, I think that’s no surprise. It's beautifully iconic.
